Suzuki Strings Tuition

Suzuki Strings Faculty

Dr. Giselle Hillyer, violin

Ms. Sheila Kilcoyne, cello

Ms. Inga Kingsley, violin

Ms. Diane Worthey, violin

The Preparatory Division offers Suzuki instruction in violin, viola, and cello. Our Suzuki strings faculty are extremely experienced, with advanced degrees in music performance and pedagogy and a record of excellence in the Palouse community.

Strings students in the early stages of Suzuki Strings lessons are required to attend a weekly private lesson and a mandatory group class that will meet 7 times per semester. A combination of solo and group instruction is a vital cornerstone of the Suzuki philosophy.

More advanced strings students are required to play in the Cantabile Strings Ensemble or the Greater Palouse Youth Orchestra, depending on the age of the student.

Your teacher will tell you more about the specific class he or she would like you to take. Tuition may be paid in two installments per semester, and each semester includes fourteen weeks of lessons. Unfortunately, the Prep Division no longer offers sibling discounts.
